Q & A with Dylan Lueckenotte

For a few weeks, I’ve been focusing on information about the insurance and financial world, but I wanted to take a short break and introduce myself to you through my blog. It’s easy to compose articles about our full-service insurance company in Jefferson City, MO, or to update you on the benefits that our financial service agency provides, but Wallstreet Group is also all about family and getting to know people individually – so I would like for you to get to know a little bit more about your financial and insurance assistant.


Why did you decide to pursue insurance and financial planning for your career?

I started interning at Wallstreet in College, and fell in Love with the company and the career. I believe that Deep Dive Insurance Services and Financial Planning are key to the success for every Employer and Individual. Everyone has unique insurance and financial needs, and I love the challenge/ reward of helping people meet those needs.

What college did you go to, and what did you like about it?

The University of Missouri (Mizzou). The business school did a tremendous job preparing me for my career, and this is also where I met my closest friends.

My Father – Randy Lueckenotte
My Mother - Kelly Lueckenotte
Brother – Wade Lueckenotte (Stationed in Germany with the Air Force)
Sister – Lauren Lueckenotte (Lives in LA)
Girlfriend - Kaelin Laue (Teacher at Battle Elementary in Columbia) and we have a cat named Layla

What are three words that describe the Wallstreet Group?

One Big Family

Do you have a favorite quote?

“How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.”
This quote always runs through my mind anytime I am faced with a challenge

Before working at the Wallstreet Group, what is the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?  

I barbacked at a few different restaurants/bars at the Lake of the Ozarks.

If you could only drink one beverage for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

I always start my day with a cup of coffee, and I can’t imagine ever changing that part of my routine.

What was the last book that you read?

The Power of Who by Bob Beaudine

What was your favorite club or activity while in school?

I spent a lot of time socializing with friends, and I was involved with my Fraternity.
